Why is Apprize360 Personal better than a feed aggregator?
News aggregators such as FeedBurner or Google Reader take a list of RSS feeds that you specify and provide an interface for viewing them all at once. A360 Personal on the other hand, takes a list of new articles, blog posts, emails, or other documents that you know you like and then searches all the RSS feeds on the web and condenses them into your personal RSS feed that contains only items that are similar to the ones you specified.
How do I access my personal feed?
Each user's feed is constantly updated, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Feeds can be accessed using the web interface, or by pointing your favorite feed reader such as Google Reader, FeedBurner, or an email client to your personalized RSS URL. You can choose to keep your feed private, or to share it with the world.
How does Apprize360 know what I like?
Each user maintains a list of favorites and Apprize360 compares news articles and blog posts from around the web with that list and presents you with the best matches in your personal feed. You can add or remove items from your favorites list at any time and Apprize360 will change the articles it shows you accordingly.
How much work does it take?
After a user creates their account and adds 10-20 news articles, blog posts, websites, emails, or other documents that they find interesting, their personal feed will be automatically created and constantly updated. At that point, the user never has to log into our site again; they could read their personalized RSS feed from any feed reader of their choice. Of course, users can update their content whenever they want to change the types of documents they receive in their personal feed.
